FECON Disc Hawk High-Flow Disc Mulcher for Skid Steers
Built to clear faster, cut heavier, and work smarter.
The Fecon Disc Hawk is a high-flow forestry disc mulcher engineered for skid steer operators who need maximum production in demanding land-clearing applications. Ideal for ROW clearing, pasture reclamation, fire fuel reduction, and rural property maintenance, the Disc Hawk delivers powerful, controlled mulching with exceptional versatility.
Designed as a cost-effective alternative to larger forestry machines, the Disc Hawk allows operators to take on big projects and finish them quickly—without sacrificing cut quality or safety.
Built to Tackle Thicker Material
The Disc Hawk is designed to handle aggressive cutting and mulching tasks with confidence:
-
Fell trees up to 14 inches in diameter
-
Process brush, overgrowth, and trees up to 6 inches
-
Ideal for applications where material dispersion is preferred over fine grinding
-
Compact driveline design improves operator visibility and machine balance
An Adaptable Mulching Platform
Every job site is different, and the Disc Hawk is built to adapt:
-
Two push bar mounting locations allow more or less disc engagement based on material type
-
Run standard steel teeth for maximum cutting efficiency
-
Upgrade to carbide teeth for applications requiring ground engagement and extended wear life
Purpose-Built Intake Chutes
Choose the intake configuration that matches your material:
-
Brush Intake Chute – Larger throat for gathering material and maximizing production
-
Hardwood Intake Chute – Guides felled trees directly into the disc for improved processing
Controlled Discharge Options
Dial in your finish and safety with two discharge styles:
-
Broadcasting Discharge – High-efficiency material spread for rapid clearing
-
Processing Discharge – Downward discharge to reduce thrown debris and improve mulch sizing
Multiple Mulching Methods in One Attachment
The Disc Hawk supports several cutting techniques, giving operators unmatched flexibility:
-
Top-Down Feeding – Uses the lower left side of the disc to mulch standing trees or work brush piles
-
Bottom-Up Feeding – Cuts from the base, pulls trees into the cutting chamber, and discharges material to the left
-
Back Dragging – Tilting the disc forward allows ground-level cleanup of residual material
-
Felling – The left side of the disc cuts larger trees while the push bar guides the fall
Built for Reliability
-
Standard warranty: 12 months / 1,000 hours
-
Heavy-duty construction designed for high-flow skid steers (30 TO 50 GPM)
-
Proven Fecon engineering for long service life and consistent performance
If you need a high-flow skid steer disc mulcher that can fell trees, process heavy brush, and adapt to multiple mulching styles, the Fecon Disc Hawk delivers professional-grade results on every pass.
