After almost century producing chains, Izumi has made a name for themselves in the track cycling world largely due to the reputation of this chain. Synonymous with performance, the IZUMI-V is the highest quality chain Izumi produces. Aside from being as much as three times more durable than the Standard chain, the Izumi V is also significantly more responsive. Unlike the Jet Black and the Standard chains, the V uses a small bolt and nut to connect the chain rather than the spring-clip.
And, for all those aspiring Keirin riders, the V is the only NJS approved chain that Izumi produces.
