JBL Shock Wave subwoofers deliver knockout low end with incredible accuracy. The subwoofer uses a tough, injection-molded polypropylene cone with butyl rubber surround for exceptional precision and strength during cone excursion to get accurate, hard-hitting bass notes. The designed advanced air flow motor structure bond with die-cast aluminum basket with integrated spider venting feature keeps the subwoofer running cool for trouble-free performance. The subwoofer can handle up to 600 watts RMS and 1000 watts RMS respectively. The high temperature 4-layer copper dual 2-ohm voice coils allow you to wire the sub for 1-ohm impedance to draw maximum power from your amplifier, or for 4-ohm impedance if you’re designing a multi-subwoofer set up. The Shock Wave subwoofer works equally well in a sealed or ported enclosure, so you can choose the kind of bass you want for your system.
