Lowe XR-21 Trencher – XR-Series

The LOWE® XR-21 Trencher from the XR-Series sets the standard for advanced trenching technology, delivering unmatched strength, durability, and efficiency. Designed for skid steers, compact track loaders, and mini-loaders, the XR-21 is the ultimate solution for construction, utility, agricultural, and landscaping projects.

Built with a heavy-duty 50,000 lb. (22,680 kg) digging chain, self-aligning boom with grease cylinder tensioning system, and maintenance-free tapered roller bearings, the XR-21 ensures maximum reliability and long service life. A removable double-flighted spoil auger provides fast trench cleanout, while redesigned housing improves visibility, trench starting, and overall digging performance.

• Expanded Double Standard Anti-Back Flex: Best for loose soils where extra width is required

• Rock & Frost Anti-Back Flex: Designed for rocky or frozen ground

• ½ Rock & Frost Anti-Back Flex: For hard soil and mixed rocky digging conditions

Available trench widths: 5″ (127 mm) and 6″ (152 mm).

Crumber Arm: Improves trench cleanout and efficiency, making sure every pass is consistent and ready for pipe, cable, or irrigation installation. (INCLUDED IN PRICE)

The XR-14 though the XRH-35 have an optional hydraulic side shift for users that need to make numerous adjustments to the side shifting capability. Fixed-mount trenchers are also available for those that do not need to side shift and wish to save additional cost.
